Braun Electric Toothbrushes
Checking out Braun electric toothbrushes? Braun is a reputable company well known for its established body-grooming product line. Look for the Oral-B® brand name. This is a company that has been around for a long time. It incorporates subtle yet effective differences in its model designs. The upside of that are the unique benefits you'll find with Braun electric toothbrushes that you might not experience with another brand. The downside, however, is that if you have one model and you want to replace the brush head, you have to take care that you choose the right one. There's a possibility you'll pick up an Oral-B® brush head that just doesn't fit on your Oral-B® charger. You should also pay careful attention to the voltage requirements and the size of the product if you want to take it with you when you travel. If you travel a lot, it can be a major inconvenience to arrive at your destination and find out that you can't use your toothbrush. The Braun electric toothbrushes are manufactured to combine rapid pulsations with intense oscillations in order to provide you a much more effective cleaning capability than that of a manual toothbrush. While other manufacturers also incorporate this one-two punch in cleaning power in their products these days, it was Braun who wrote the book on power toothbrush technology. That means you no longer have to exert any real effort to brush your teeth. All you need to do is move the handle along the interior of your mouth, and the bristle head does all the work. If you are someone with carpal tunnel, arthritis, or carpal nerve compression, you will find it much easier to use a toothbrush and still achieve effective results. Braun Electric Toothbrushes offer you loads of great features:
If you're uncertain whether to commit to a higher-dollar purchase such as a full-blown Oral-B® Sonic Complete toothbrush, you have several pricing options. The Oral-B® Vitality with oscillating-pulsating action cleans your mouth completely and eliminates twice as much plaque as a manual toothbrush. You can find it for a suggested retail price of about $22 -and many places offer it for less. The Vitality line also comes in a sonic version, with the bristles moving up to 20,000 times per minute. With the oscillating kind, you really don't move your wrist much, but with a sonic version -whether you choose this one or the higher-buck model- you are required to go through brushing motions. This model offers about half the sonic power as the top-of-the-line version, but it's much more pocketbook-friendly. It costs about the same as the oscillating Vitality model. The Oral-B® Professional Care 1000 Power toothbrush weighs in at a little over $50, and it claims to remove up to 97% of the plaque in your mouth. The brush head is rounded for the proprietary "cupping" action that gives individual attention to each of your teeth. This is a model with a two-minute timer and a gauge for too much pressure. The top-shelf Oral-B® product (at least, at this writing) is the Triumph Professional Care 9950 Special Edition set. You can put it on your bathroom shelf for just under $200, but it offers you two handles and three brush heads (just one charger, though). This is one of the sonic models you've read about, with vibrations up to 40,000 per minute. It lets you know if you're brushing too hard. It tracks how long you're brushing. It pauses so you can switch it to various quadrants within your mouth. And it even tells you what time it is. It claims that its power will eliminate coffee and nicotine stains from your teeth, and you are promised healthier gums. This model, as well as other more expensive Braun electric toothbrushes, don't offer much difference in the amount of plaque removed than the cheaper models, but they do last longer and have more of the extra features we mentioned. There are other Braun electric toothbrushes to choose from, and the various prices allow you to take a new technology out for a ride before you invest in a pricier model. In addition, the less expensive models are great for children.
